These were a good casual dress shoe for boys who seem to grow over night. These can be worn to church, school and probably physical education in a pinch. I actually tried on a pair that were big enough for me and they were soft and cushioned inside. They were a little too wide, so you just need to cinch laces nice and snug for those boys with more narrow feet. I bought two pairs for two of my sons and they are very happy with them. I cannot afford a new pair of shoes every 3 months so the price on these is excellent. I could not find a pair anywhere of this style, quality and price except here. So, I ended up buying two pairs in black and two pairs in brown. I highly recommend these for those quick growing boys.
